Pandemic hit the whole world, and Beokocka felt it also. Few members had hard times with Covid19 infection, but luckily, no fatalities. We had to close our Play House, and for more than a year we were subjected to house isolation, political riots in our country and other calamities, as well as loosing recognized status. All of our events were closed and or canceled, few of our famous members left the club, and we were leaderless, under stress of events and without hope.
But after every night, no matter how dark, comes a morning, and pandemic is calming down, we are remodeling our small spaces for tiny groups building (maximum three persons) and we are planning new events, starting from October
It was hard, and sad, but hard times do makes us stronger, and build connections, and character. We could live very well without it, but when something does happen, it is our duty to take the best from it, and try to make community better, safer and happier. Nothing does it more than playing with LEGO bricks :) And building with company has that special flavor of you, we love so much :)
We hope that we will be able to travel and visit our AFOL friends around the world, and take part in conventions that will follow. And we are continuing with our activities, starting with site, with press and blog, and later, our Share@Care page. Our member built some amazing mocs during isolation, so keep an eye on news
We had an article in The Guardian (St Basilica moc), took a Guiness World Record (Notre Dame moc) and clip with our moc had 500.000 views on Beyond the Brick (Millennium Falcon moc)
